WMD was founded in 2009 to focus on Corporate and Artistic Open Source web development. We feel that Open Source is the wave of the future and we want to help build and launch your new website or web application. Technology is complicated, but with WMD we make it simple. We decided to show simplicity at it's best with this website. We have organized our entire website into a one page wonder. Bigger isn't always better. To get started we ask you to describe what you want your website to look like, how you want it to function, and describe any special requirements. We then prepare a simple to understand quote, complete with a time-line and instructions on how to pay the initial deposit. We accept Credit Cards, PayPal, Check, and Cash.

Once we receive the deposit we start your project immediately. You will receive an email with a website address where your website will be built. This allows you to view the progress of your website or web application along the way. This helps you mentally process the design and function making it easier for you to make the right decisions. We don't pressure you to make a decision in a single meeting. Look over it at your leisure and make a list of anything you don't like. Then when we complete the website send us your list of corrections. We go through and make all the corrections and email you for final inspection.

If after the final inspection it looks good and does what you want we prepare the launch. A project launch can vary greatly depending on the size of your corporation and the type of company. A simple launch consists of making the website live on a domain of your choice and submitting your website to Google and all the other large Search Engines. A complete launch consists of Press Releases, Chatter on Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter, Articles on Major New Websites, and Increased Search Results. The difference of a good launch can make or break your website.

The time it takes to create your website will will vary depending on the complexity of your project. If you are building a simple website it should only take 2 - 3 weeks from start to finish. Payment is typically split into two payments. The initial payment is usually 50% of the total cost. This gives us peace of mind knowing that you are indeed serious about your website. This also gives you protection since you are still holding 50% of our paycheck. Once the website is complete and you are 100% satisfied you pay the final 50% and we launch your new website.

We work on the two payment rule. Once you have made the deposit we start the website. Since we have already begun work the deposit has been used and is non-refundable. However you do not pay the final bill until you are 100% satisfied. If you are not satisfied, you don't pay.
